Bread Pudding, Cucumber Gimlet, and Chicken Milanese — 10/10. Every bite was incredible! The chicken was perfectly crisp, the bread pudding was rich and comforting, and the cucumber gimlet was refreshingly balanced. The setting in Meadow Brook Park made it all even better — peaceful, beautiful, and the perfect backdrop for an amazing meal.
I wanted to take a moment to tell Anna and all the staff at Verbena THANK YOU! With 48 hours notice, our event venue space CLOSED and we were scrambling to find a new venue available to host 25 for dinner. Anna and her team went above and beyond to coordinate details and provide the most wonderful Plan B experience I will likely ever encounter. Usually, when you have mere days to pivot, you expect to flex and have to settle for less than ideal. That was not the case! Anna was clear in her communications with us about our event and with just 48 hours, delivered a gorgeous event that our guests will remember and have already requested to come back again next year. Excellent food and service with unique and traditional menu options in an upscale atmosphere. Great selection of cocktails and handpicked wine list. Definitely recommend giving Verbena a try, if you are looking for an intimate setting. This was my first time trying a poached fish dish, which I enjoyed. I would recommend the shrimp appetizer. There is a bar here with a great list of options, however we sat in the restaurant and enjoyed our cocktails at a table.

The atmosphere is cozy, beautiful, and welcoming—perfect for a relaxed evening or a special night out. The drinks were flavorful and expertly made, and the food was absolutely delicious, with every dish clearly prepared with care and quality ingredients. Verbena delivers a wonderful balance of great service, inviting ambiance, and amazing food and drinks. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!
We were having a large family dinner there and enjoyed amazing service. The waitress was completely attentive and knowledeable when dealing with 5 separate allergy requests. The food was awesome too!
We hosted a baby shower here, and it was a wonderful experience. Anna worked with me on all my crazy requests, Tara helped me with special drinks, the service from Matthew was incredible, and the food was fantastic. They had such attention to detail, constantly busing the table, so there were no extraneous dishes. They went above and beyond to help me bring my event to life was just fantastic. I highly recommend!
Taylor was our server and she was fabulous. Drinks were wonderful. Food was delicious. Hubby had scallops and I had the pork chop. Will definitely visit again. Pink drink is harvest moon and sweater weather in first picture. Second drinks are harvest moon and spice up your life. Loved them all
